Personal research blog
Coastal marine plants such as salt marshes and seagrasses form productive ecosystems, storing carbon at fast rates and protecting our coasts. Additionally, marine foundation species provide a home for charismatic animals such as birds, sea turtles and dugongs. However, these biodiversity hotspots are under threath from various stressors. My research focuses on the resilience of coastal ecosystems, and how their communities respond to a rapidly changing environment.
